رعت وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل ممثلا بقطاع الرعاية الاجتماعية ، صباح اليوم في العاصمة عدن رحلة ترفيهية وحفل تكريمي لـ1000 يتيم ويتيمة برفقة أمهاتهم، من محافظات عدن، لحج، أبين، والضالع، وذلك برعاية كريمة من معالي الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، وبمناسبة يوم اليتيم العربي 2025م.
الفعالية أُقيمت في حديقة “فان سيتي” بتنظيم من جمعية الحكمة اليمانية، وبدعم سخي من مؤسسة الثواب الخيرية التي وفّرت دخولاً مجانياً للحديقة إلى جانب تأمين وجبة غداء للأطفال وأمهاتهم، كما ساهم عدد من الجهات الخيرية من دول الخليج العربي ومتبرعين محليين في دعم الفعالية.
وفي كلمة ألقتها خلال الحفل، نقلت الأستاذة منيا محمود عزاني، مدير عام المساعدات الاجتماعية في ديوان الوزارة، تهاني وتحيات معالي الوزير الزعوري للأطفال الأيتام، مؤكدة أن الوزارة تولي هذه الفئة اهتماماً كبيراً عبر دعم وتنظيم العديد من الأنشطة والبرامج الترفيهية والتعليمية بالشراكة مع منظمات المجتمع المدني.
وأشارت عزاني إلى أن الوزارة بصدد إطلاق منصة إلكترونية مخصصة للمؤسسات والمنظمات الدولية والمحلية، ستُدرج فيها بيانات الأيتام لتعزيز مستوى التنسيق والرعاية.
وقدّمت عزاني شكر الوزارة للجهات الداعمة، وعلى رأسها كافلو الأيتام من دول الخليج والمساهمون المحليون، مثمنة دور جمعية الحكمة اليمانية في تنظيم الفعالية.
من جانبه، ثمّن المهندس محمد عبد الواسع، رئيس فرع الجمعية، دعم الوزير الزعوري وحرصه على رعاية الأيتام، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الفعالية تأتي ضمن سلسلة من البرامج التي تنفذها الجمعية لتمكين الأيتام وأسرهم، حيث شملت الرحلة العديد من الأنشطة الترفيهية والتعليمية التي أدخلت البهجة في نفوس المشاركين.
وقد صاحب الفعالية عيادة طبية متنقلة قدّمت خدمات صحية مجانية للأطفال وأمهاتهم، ولاقت استحساناً واسعاً من الحاضرين.
وفي ختام الحفل، وبمشاركة مستشار معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل اعتدال عبدالحميد سلام جرى تكريم عدد من الأيتام المتفوقين تعليمياً، تشجيعاً لهم وتحفيزاً لبقية الأطفال على التميز والاجتهاد.
Under the Patronage of Minister Al-Zouari: Recreational Trip for 1,000 Orphans in Aden in Celebration of Arab Orphan Day

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, represented by the Social Welfare Sector, sponsored a recreational trip and honorary celebration this morning in the capital, Aden, for 1,000 orphans and their mothers from the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, and Al-Dhalea. The event was held under the generous patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zouari, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, in celebration of Arab Orphan Day 2025.
The event took place at “Fun City” park, organized by the Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association and generously supported by the Al-Thawab Charitable Foundation, which provided free park entry and lunch for the children and their mothers. Several charitable organizations from the Gulf region and local donors also contributed to the event.
In a speech during the ceremony, Ms. Monea Mahmoud Azani, Director General of Social Assistance at the Ministry’s headquarters, conveyed the minister’s greetings and congratulations to the orphans, emphasizing that the Ministry places great importance on this group through its support and organization of various recreational and educational programs in partnership with civil society organizations.
Azani also announced that the Ministry is preparing to launch an electronic platform for international and local institutions and organizations, which will include data on orphans to enhance coordination and care.
She expressed the Ministry’s gratitude to the supporting entities, particularly the orphan sponsors from the Gulf and local contributors, and praised the role of the Al-Hikma Al-Yamania Association in organizing the event.
For his part, Engineer Mohammed Abdulwasi, Head of the Association’s Branch, appreciated Minister Al-Zouari’s support and dedication to the care of orphans. He noted that this event is part of a series of programs the Association implements to empower orphans and their families, including various recreational and educational activities that brought joy to the participants.
The event also featured a mobile medical clinic that provided free healthcare services to the children and their mothers, which was widely appreciated by attendees.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, and with the participation of Ms. I’tidal Abdulhamid Salam, Advisor to the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, several academically outstanding orphans were honored to encourage and inspire others to excel and strive for succes.
