*الوزير الزعوري يبحث مع السفير بن سفاع تحديات العمل الخيري في بلادنا*

التقى معالي وزير الشؤون الإجتماعية والعمل الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري بمكتبه صباح اليوم بالعاصمة عدن سعادة سفير بلادنا لدى الكويت الدكتور علي منصور بن سفاع..

واطلع الوزير الزعوري من سفير بلادنا لدى دولة الكويت عن نتائج لقاءه مع الوزير المفوض محمد علي شملان نائب مساعد وزير الخارجية لشؤون التنمية والتعاون الدولي ، المسؤول عن تنسيق العمل الخيري والإنساني الكويتي في اليمن والمتعلقة بموضوع استيلاء ونهب مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية على أصول مشاريع خيرية قدمتها الكويت في مناطق سيطرتهم .

 كما ناقش اللقاء الضوابط الاجرائية التي اتخذتها دولة الكويت لتنظيم العمل الخير وسبل تقديم الدعم والمساعدات الانسانية ، لمنع تجيير العمل الخيري للاتجار وتنفيذ اجندة مشبوهة وتمويل الارهاب .

وفي اللقاء تم التأكيد على إيجاد أليات فاعلة للتنسيق والتعاون المشترك بين الحكومة اليمنية ودولة الكويت الشقيقة ، وضرورة اعادة تنظيم ملف منظمات المجتمع المدني المحلية وتقليص عددها بما يتناسب مع التوجهات الجديدة للاشقاء في دولة الكويت ، وبما يتوافق مع أهلية المنظمات المحلية وفاعليتها ، ونزاهة أعضائها والعاملين عليها ، حتى يتسنى للجهات الداعمة في الكويت اعادة تفعيل برامج الدعم المقدمة لبلادنا وفقا لآليات جديدة تضمن وصول المساعدات لمستحقيها ، ومنع استغلالها في المتاجرة وتمويل انشطة مشبوهة .

هذ واثنى معالي الوزير الزعوري على الدور المحوري لدولة الكويت الشقيق حكومة وشعبا في دعمها الانساني السخي لابناء شعبنا في ظل الظروف الصعبة والحرجة التي يمر بها لما يزيد عن عشر سنوات من الحرب التي اقدمت عليها المليشيات الحوثية الارهابية .

الجدير بالذكر إن دولة الكويت اقدمت على اتخاذ عدة إجراءات تحت عنوان تنظيم العمل الخيري داخليا وخارجيا واستحداث ضوابط شديدة على العمل الخيري بالكويت بهدف التأكد من ان العمل الخيري موجه الى مستحقيه وحرصا منهم على ان يكون العمل الخيري عملاً انسانياً خالصاً .

حضر اللقاء السفير بوزارة الخارجية الاخ مثنى العامري والاستاذ صالح محمود وكيل قطاع الرعاية الاجتماعية و الاستاذ محمد علي الصماتي مدير عام الجمعيات ، والاستاذ منيف المحرابي مدير مكتب الوزير والاخ عبدة المسوري من الخارجية .

Minister Al-Zouari Discusses Charitable Work Challenges in Yemen with Ambassador Bin Safa’

This morning in the capital, Aden, His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zouari, met in his office with His Excellency Dr. Ali Mansour Bin Safa’, Yemen’s Ambassador to Kuwait.

Minister Al-Zouari was briefed by the Ambassador on the outcomes of his meeting with Minister Plenipotentiary Mohammed Ali Shamlān, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development and International Cooperation, who is responsible for coordinating Kuwaiti charitable and humanitarian work in Yemen. The discussions included the issue of the terrorist Houthi militia’s seizure and looting of assets from charitable projects funded by Kuwait in areas under their control.

The meeting also addressed the procedural regulations adopted by the State of Kuwait to organize charitable work, and ways to provide humanitarian aid and support, in order to prevent the exploitation of charitable activities for profiteering, implementing suspicious agendas, or financing terrorism.

It was emphasized during the meeting that effective mechanisms must be established for joint coordination and cooperation between the Yemeni government and the brotherly State of Kuwait. The importance of reorganizing the registry of local civil society organizations and reducing their number was also stressed, to align with the new directions of our Kuwaiti brothers, and in accordance with the eligibility, effectiveness, and integrity of local organizations and their members and staff. This will enable Kuwaiti donors to resume their support programs for Yemen under new mechanisms that ensure aid reaches those who deserve it and prevent its misuse for profiteering or funding suspicious activities.

His Excellency Minister Al-Zouari praised the pivotal role of the brotherly State of Kuwait—its government and people—in providing generous humanitarian support to the people of Yemen amid the difficult and critical circumstances the country has endured for over ten years of war waged by the terrorist Houthi militia.

It is worth noting that the State of Kuwait has taken several measures under the banner of “Organizing Charitable Work” domestically and internationally, introducing strict controls on charitable activities in Kuwait to ensure that charitable work reaches its rightful beneficiaries and remains a purely humanitarian endeavor.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Muthanna Al-Amri; Mr. Saleh Mahmoud, Undersecretary for the Social Care Sector; Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Sumati, Director General of Associations; Mr. Muneef Al-Muhrabi, Director of the Minister’s Office; and Mr. Abda Al-Maswari from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
