*الوزير الزعوري يلتقي رئيس بعثة منظمة “إنترسوس” الجديد ويؤكد دعم أنشطة المنظمة في اليمن*

التقى معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، صباح اليوم في مكتبه بالعاصمة عدن، رئيس بعثة منظمة “إنترسوس” الجديد إلى اليمن السيد إنكاس تشاو.

وفي مستهل اللقاء، رحّب الوزير الزعوري برئيس البعثة، مؤكداً استعداد الوزارة لتقديم كافة أوجه الدعم والتسهيلات النظامية اللازمة لإنجاح البرامج والأنشطة التي تنفذها المنظمة في مجال الحماية الاجتماعية وحماية الاطفال ومشاريع التمكين الاقتصادي وسبل العيش .

وجدّد الوزير دعوته لمنظمة “إنترسوس” وسائر المنظمات الدولية لنقل مقراتها من صنعاء إلى العاصمة عدن، مؤكدا على أن الحكومة ستوفر البيئة الآمنة والملائمة لعملها، بعيداً عن الضغوطات والانتهاكات التي تمارسها مليشيات الحوثي الإرهابية ، من مداهمة مقرات المنظمات وخطف العاملين فيها، وهو ما يعرّض حياتهم للخطر، حيث لا يزال العشرات منهم قيد الاحتجاز رغم المناشدات الأممية والإقليمية لإطلاق سراحهم.

كما دعا الوزير الزعوري المنظمة إلى تعزيز الشراكة مع الوزارة في حشد الدعم لتمويل الاستراتيجيات الوطنية التي أعدتها، ومنها: استراتيجية الحماية الاجتماعية لليمن 2025 – 2030، استراتيجية حماية الطفل 2026 – 2029، استراتيجية كبار السن، واستراتيجية المرأة والأمن والسلام ، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة تعمل بالتنسيق مع شركائها لإعداد الأدلة الخاصة بهذه الاستراتيجيات وتتطلع إلى إسهام المنظمة في تنفيذها وتوسيع مجالات التعاون والشراكة وتنسيق الجهود في المجالات الانسانية والتنموية .

من جانبه، عبّر رئيس بعثة “إنترسوس” السيد إنكاس تشاو عن سعادته بلقاء الوزير الزعوري ، في أول اجتماع رسمي له منذ توليه منصبه، مؤكداً حرص المنظمة على تعزيز الشراكة مع الوزارة والتوسع في أنشطتها الإنسانية، خصوصاً في مجالي الصحة والتعليم بالمناطق الواقعة تحت سلطة الشرعية، في ظل الظروف الاقتصادية الصعبة التي تمر بها البلاد.

Minister Al-Zouari Meets the New Head of INTERSOS Mission and Affirms Support for the Organization’s Activities in Yemen

This morning, in his office in the capital, Aden, H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zouari, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, met with Mr. Enkas Chao, the newly appointed Head of the INTERSOS Mission to Yemen.

At the outset of the meeting, Minister Al-Zouari welcomed the Head of Mission, affirming the Ministry’s readiness to provide all forms of support and the necessary official facilitation to ensure the success of the programs and activities implemented by the organization in the fields of social protection, child protection, economic empowerment, and livelihood projects.

The Minister reiterated his call for INTERSOS and all international organizations to relocate their offices from Sana’a to the capital, Aden, stressing that the government will provide a safe and conducive environment for their work—away from the pressures and violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militia, including raids on organizational premises and the abduction of staff, which put their lives at risk. He pointed out that dozens of humanitarian workers remain in detention despite repeated UN and regional appeals for their release.

Minister Al-Zouari also called on INTERSOS to strengthen its partnership with the Ministry in mobilizing support to fund the national strategies prepared by the government, including: the Yemen Social Protection Strategy (2025–2030), the Child Protection Strategy (2026–2029), the Senior Citizens Strategy, and the Women, Peace, and Security Strategy. He noted that the Ministry, in coordination with its partners, is working on developing the operational manuals for these strategies, and looks forward to the organization’s contribution to their implementation, as well as expanding areas of cooperation, partnership, and coordination in both humanitarian and development fields.

For his part, Mr. Enkas Chao, Head of the INTERSOS Mission, expressed his pleasure in meeting Minister Al-Zouari in his first official meeting since assuming office, affirming the organization’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Ministry and expanding its humanitarian activities, particularly in the fields of health and education in areas under legitimate government authority, in light of the difficult economic conditions the country is facing.

The meeting was attended by several deputy ministers and general directors from the Ministry’s headquarters.
