قام الأستاذ صالح محمود حسن، وكيل وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية لقطاع الرعاية الاجتماعية، برفقة الأستاذ محمد علي الصماتي، مدير عام الجمعيات بديوان عام الوزارة، بزيارة تفقدية لمكتب الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل بساحل حضرموت. وكان في استقبالهما لدى وصولهما صباح اليوم الأستاذ أحمد سالم باظروس، مدير عام المكتب.
وخلال الزيارة، عقد الوكيل صالح ومدير عام الجمعيات الصماتي اجتماعاً مع مدير المكتب باظروس ومديري الإدارات ورؤساء الأقسام. ونقلا لهم تحيات معالي الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، وتقديره للنجاحات التي يحققها مكتب الوزارة في ساحل حضرموت، وثناءه لأداء قيادة وكوادر المكتب المتميز في تنفيذ المهام الموكلة إليهم.
واستمع الوكيل صالح ومدير عام الجمعيات الصماتي من مدير المكتب ومديري الإدارات والأقسام إلى شرح مفصل عن طبيعة المهام المنفذة والخدمات المجتمعية المقدمة. وأكد الوكيل على أهمية تسهيل إجراءات العمل وفقاً للأنظمة واللوائح والخطط المعدة، خاصة في مجال الحماية الاجتماعية، مشيراً إلى أن الوزارة قد أطلقت مؤخراً “الخطة الوطنية لحماية الأطفال 2026-2029”.
بعد ذلك، قام الوكيل صالح ومدير عام الجمعيات الصماتي برفقة مدير مكتب الوزارة بساحل حضرموت باظروس، بزيارة مشروع بناء دار الإيواء في مدينة المكلا. والمشروع يمول من الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA) وينفذه برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP) بتكلفة بلغت 374 ألف دولار أمريكي.
وأعرب الوكيل صالح عن تقدير الوزارة لهذا المشروع المتميز، الذي يمثل خطوة مهمة لتعزيز الحماية الاجتماعية للنزيلات، وتوفير الحماية الجسدية والنفسية الفورية، والاحتواء والدعم النفسي، والتمكين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي من خلال التأهيل المهني والإدماج الاجتماعي وبرامج تدريبية وتوعوية تضمن لهن فرصة للاعتماد على الذات.
كما تفقد الوكيل صالح ومدير عام الجمعيات الصماتي مركز التوحد ومؤسسة نهد التنموية، حيث التقيا بإدارتي المركز والمؤسسة ونقلا لهما تحيات معالي الوزير الزعوري. واطلعا خلال الجولة على البرامج والأنشطة المنفذة، مشيدين بالجهود المبذولة، ومؤكدين على ضرورة بذل المزيد من العطاء.

Ministry Undersecretary and Director General of Associations Inspect Work Progress at the Ministry’s Office in Hadhramaut Coast

Mr. Saleh Mahmoud Hassan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs for the Social Welfare Sector, accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Samati, Director General of Associations at the Ministry’s General Office, conducted an inspection visit to the Office of Social Affairs and Labor in Hadhramaut Coast. Upon their arrival this morning, they were received by Mr. Ahmed Salem Bazrous, the Director General of the Office.
During the visit, Undersecretary Saleh and Director General Al-Samati held a meeting with the Office Director, Bazrous, along with department directors and section heads. They conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, his appreciation for the successes achieved by the Ministry’s office in Hadhramaut Coast, and his commendation for the distinguished performance of the office’s leadership and staff in carrying out their assigned duties.
Undersecretary Saleh and Director General Al-Samati listened to a detailed explanation from the Office Director and the heads of departments and sections about the nature of the tasks being carried out and the community services provided. The Undersecretary emphasized the importance of streamlining work procedures in accordance with established regulations, bylaws, and plans, particularly in the field of social protection. He noted that the Ministry had recently launched the “National Plan for Child Protection 2026-2029.”
Subsequently, Undersecretary Saleh and Director General Al-Samati, accompanied by the Director of the Ministry’s Office in Hadhramaut Coast, Bazrous, visited the project for constructing a shelter in Al-Mukalla city. The project is generously funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at a cost of 374,000 US dollars.
Undersecretary Saleh expressed the Ministry’s appreciation for this distinguished project, which represents a significant step towards enhancing social protection for the female residents. He stated that the shelter would provide immediate physical and psychological protection, a safe haven, psychological support, and economic and social empowerment through vocational rehabilitation and social integration via training and awareness programs, ensuring them an opportunity for self-reliance.
The Undersecretary and the Director General of Associations also inspected the Autism Center and the Nahd Development Foundation. They met with the management of both the Center and the Foundation, conveying the greetings of His Excellency Minister Al-Zaouri. During the tour, they were briefed on the programs and activities being implemented, praising the efforts exerted and stressing the necessity for continued dedication.
The visit was attended by Mr. Sa’ib Abdulaziz Shukri Madi, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Lahj Governorate, and his accompanying delegation.
