عُقد صباح اليوم، في ديوان وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل بالعاصمة عدن، الاجتماع الانتخابي لجمعية القابلات في محافظات الجنوب والمناطق المحررة، وذلك برعاية معالي الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل.
وبعد تأكد اللجنة المشرفة من اكتمال النصاب القانوني، تم استعراض جدول الأعمال، والمصادقة على التقارير، ومناقشة التعديلات المقترحة على النظام الأساسي للجمعية.
وفي أجواء ديمقراطية، جرت عملية الاقتراع، وأسفرت الانتخابات عن اختيار هيئة إدارية جديدة للجمعية، برئاسة ماجدة عبد الجليل سيف، فيما تم اختيار أشواق حسن لرئاسة لجنة الرقابة والتفتيش.
وقد أُجريت عملية الفرز من قبل اللجنة المشرفة، وبحضور المرشحات، لضمان النزاهة والشفافية.
ومن المقرر أن يُعقد الاجتماع الأول للهيئة الإدارية ولجنة الرقابة والتفتيش يوم غدٍ الخميس.
الجدير بالذكر أن الجمعية الوطنية للقابلات تأسست في سبتمبر 2004، وهي جمعية تطوعية تسعى إلى تحسين صحة الأمهات والأطفال، وتوفير الرعاية الأساسية للنساء والمواليد، بما يساهم في تقليل وفيات الأمهات والمواليد. وتتمتع الجمعية باستقلال مالي وإداري، كما أنها إحدى المنظمات غير الحكومية الرسمية المسجلة لدى وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل في العاصمة عدن.
Under the Patronage of Minister Al-Zaury: Midwives Association Elects a New Administrative Board

This morning, the electoral meeting of the Midwives Association in the southern governorates and liberated areas was held at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor headquarters in the capital, Aden, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaury, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor.
After the supervisory committee confirmed the quorum, the agenda was reviewed, reports were approved, and proposed amendments to the association’s bylaws were discussed.
In a democratic atmosphere, the voting process took place, resulting in the election of a new administrative board for the association, with Magda Abdul Jalil Saif as the newly elected president. Additionally, Ashwaq Hassan was chosen to head the Oversight and Inspection Committee.
The vote counting was conducted by the supervisory committee in the presence of the candidates to ensure transparency and integrity.
The first meeting of the new administrative board and the Oversight and Inspection Committee is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday.
It is worth noting that the National Midwives Association was established in September 2004 as a voluntary organization dedicated to improving maternal and child health and providing essential care for women and newborns, contributing to the reduction of maternal and neonatal mortality rates. The association enjoys financial and administrative independence and is one of the officially registered NGOs under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden.
