ترأس معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، رئيس اللجنة الاستشارية للحماية الاجتماعية، الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، صباح اليوم، بديوان عام الوزارة ، بالعاصمة عدن اجتماع اللجنة الإشرافية المنبثقة عن اللجنة الاستشارية للحماية الاجتماعية.
وأكد الوزير الزعوري خلال الاجتماع استكمال جميع الإجراءات القانونية المتعلقة برفع مشروع الإطار الاستراتيجي للحماية الاجتماعية في اليمن للفترة 2025–2030، تمهيدًا لتقديمه إلى مجلس الوزراء كمشروع قرار في الوقت المحدد، بعد أن جرى تدشينه في فبراير الماضي برعاية دولة رئيس الوزراء.
وثمّن الوزير الزعوري دعم منظمة اليونيسف الذي كان محوريًا في إعداد المشروع، مشيدًا بدورها الفاعل منذ انطلاق أعمال اللجنة الاستشارية في عام 2021، كما عبّر عن تقديره لأعضاء اللجنة من ممثلي الوزارات والجهات الوطنية المعنية، على جهودهم التي أثمرت عن إعداد هذا الإطار، واصفا إياه بالإنجاز الوطني والاستراتيجي الهام، رغم التحديات التي تمر بها البلاد.
وخرج الاجتماع بعدد من القرارات والتوصيات، من أبرزها دعوة أعضاء اللجنة الاستشارية إلى استكمال رفع ما تبقى من أولويات المشاريع المعتمدة خلال أسبوع، وتكليف أعضاء اللجنة الإشرافية بالتنسيق مع اليونيسف لاستكمال المهام الفنية، على أن تُعرض نتائج العمل في الاجتماع المقبل.
كما جرى خلال الاجتماع قراءة ومناقشة محضر الاجتماع السابق والمصادقة عليه.
Supervisory Committee for Social Protection Approves Submission of the Social Protection Strategic Framework 2025–2030 to the Cabinet for Endorsement

This morning, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Social Protection, chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Committee, which stems from the Advisory Committee for Social Protection, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the capital, Aden.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Zaouri confirmed the completion of all legal procedures related to submitting the draft Social Protection Strategic Framework for Yemen for the period 2025–2030, in preparation for presenting it to the Cabinet as a draft resolution on schedule. The framework was officially launched last February under the patronage of the Prime Minister.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for UNICEF’s crucial support in preparing the project, praising its active role since the Advisory Committee began its work in 2021. He also extended his thanks to the committee members representing the relevant ministries and national entities for their efforts in preparing the framework, describing it as an important national and strategic achievement despite the challenges facing the country.
The meeting concluded with several decisions and recommendations, most notably calling on the Advisory Committee members to complete the submission of the remaining priority projects within one week. The Supervisory Committee members were also tasked with coordinating with UNICEF to complete the technical requirements, with the results to be presented at the next meeting.
Additionally, the minutes of the previous meeting were read, discussed, and approved during the session.
