بحث معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل الدكتور محمد سعيد الزعوري، صباح اليوم في مكتبه بالعاصمة عدن، مع القائم بأعمال السفير الصيني لدى بلادنا شاو شينغ، مجالات دعم برامج ذوي الإعاقة، وفي مقدمتها تعزيز قدرات المؤسسات المعنية بهم.
وفي اللقاء استعرض الوزير الواقع الإنساني للمجتمع بمختلف شرائحه ، منوها إن الوزارة تعمل مع المنظمات الاممية والدولية ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني لتقديم الدعم والرعاية للفئات الضعيفة وخاصة فئة الاطفال وذوي الاعاقة والمرأة ، باعتبارهم الاكثر تضررا من الحرب .. وفي ذات السياق تم تقديم دراسة بالاحتياجات من المعدات والتجهيزات الفنية لمستشفى ذوي الاعاقة ومركز العلاج الطبيعي بعدن ، مؤكدا حاجة المستشفى لتزويدهما بالأجهزة والمستلزمات الأساسية لنتمكن من تقديم الرعاية الصحية لذوي الاعاقة بما يواكب متطلبات النظام الصحي والعلاج الطبيعي .
وأشاد الوزير الزعوري بالدور الذي تقدمه جمهورية الصين الصديقة في دعم بلادنا بمجالات الصحة والطاقة المستدامة والمساعدات الغذائية، داعياً إلى توسيع آفاق التعاون ليشمل برامج تأهيل وتدريب الشباب، وإيفاد الخبراء بما يسهم في تعزيز القدرات الوطنية واستدامة الخدمات الأساسية. كما لفت إلى أن الصين تُعد من الدول الرائدة عالميا في تقديم خدمات الرعاية لذوي الإعاقة.
كما استعرض الوزير الزعوري أمام القائم بالأعمال احتياجات الوزارة في دعم برامج حماية المرأة والطفل، وتطوير قطاع التنمية الاجتماعية، وتعزيز انخراط الشباب في سوق العمل، إلى جانب بناء قدرات المرأة العاملة.
من جهته، أعرب شاو شينغ عن سعادته بلقاء الوزير الزعوري، مؤكدا استعداد بلاده لدعم مشروع مستشفى المعاقين وبرامج الحماية الاجتماعية، وتوسيع مجالات الدعم الفني وبناء القدرات. كما وجّه دعوة لقيادة الوزارة لزيارة الصين، وقد تم قبولها على أن يُحدد موعدها لاحقاً.

Minister Al-Za’ouri Discusses with Chinese Chargé d’Affaires Ways to Support Disability Programs

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Za’ouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, met this morning in his office in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Shao Xing, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in our country. The discussions centered on avenues for supporting disability programs, foremost among them strengthening the capacities of relevant institutions.
During the meeting, the Minister outlined the humanitarian situation affecting all segments of society, noting that the Ministry works with UN and international organizations, as well as civil society institutions, to provide support and care for vulnerable groups—particularly children, persons with disabilities, and women—as they are the most affected by the war. In this context, a study was presented detailing the needs for equipment and technical supplies for the Disability Hospital and the Physical Therapy Center in Aden. The Minister emphasized the necessity of supplying these facilities with essential devices and materials to enable the provision of healthcare for persons with disabilities that meets the requirements of the healthcare and physical therapy systems.
Minister Al-Za’ouri praised the role played by the friendly People’s Republic of China in supporting our country in the fields of health, sustainable energy, and food aid. He called for broadening the horizons of cooperation to include youth rehabilitation and training programs, as well as the dispatch of experts, which would contribute to enhancing national capacities and the sustainability of essential services. He also noted that China is a global leader in providing disability care services.
Furthermore, Minister Al-Za’ouri presented to the Chargé d’Affaires the Ministry’s needs in supporting women and child protection programs, developing the social development sector, promoting youth engagement in the labor market, and building the capacities of working women.
For his part, Mr. Shao Xing expressed his pleasure at meeting Minister Al-Za’ouri, affirming his country’s readiness to support the Disability Hospital project and social protection programs, and to expand technical support and capacity-building areas. He also extended an invitation to the Ministry’s leadership to visit China, which was accepted, with the date to be determined later.
The meeting was attended by the Ministry’s Undersecretaries and a number of Director-Generals from the Ministry’s General Office.
