عقد معالي وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، مختار اليافعي، اليوم، في العاصمة عدن، لقاءً مع قيادات السلطات المحلية لمديريات يافع في محافظتي لحج وأبين، لمناقشة الجهود المحلية الرامية إلى تطبيع الأوضاع الاجتماعية وتعزيز الاستقرار المجتمعي.
وفي مستهل اللقاء، عبّر معالي الوزير عن تقديره لما تبذله القيادات المحلية من جهود في الحفاظ على السكينة العامة وتعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي، مؤكدًا أن المرحلة الراهنة تتطلب توحيد الصفوف وترسيخ ثقافة النظام والعمل المؤسسي، وعدم الانجرار خلف أي دعوات تؤثر سلباً على المجتمع ومسارات التنمية.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض أبرز التدخلات والمشاريع المنفذة في المديريات، مع التأكيد على أهمية توجيه الجهود نحو أولويات تخدم الاستقرار الاجتماعي وتحسن مستوى الخدمات، وتدعم الفئات الأشد احتياجًا، في إطار رؤية الوزارة الهادفة إلى تحويل العمل الاجتماعي إلى رافعة حقيقية للاستقرار والتنمية.
من جانبهم، ثمّنت قيادات السلطات المحلية في مديريات يافع مواقف معالي الوزير الداعمة لاستقرار المديريات وتطبيع الأوضاع فيها، مؤكدين التزامهم بمواصلة العمل المشترك بما يعزز الاستقرار المجتمعي ويدفع بعجلة التنمية نحو البناء.
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Discusses Normalization of Social Conditions with Local Authority Leaders in Yafea Districts

Today, His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, held a meeting in the capital, Aden, with leaders of the local authorities for the Yafea districts in the governorates of Lahij and Abyan. The meeting aimed to discuss local efforts aimed at normalizing social conditions and enhancing community stability.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the local leaders in preserving public tranquility and strengthening social cohesion. He affirmed that the current stage requires unifying ranks, consolidating a culture of order and institutional work, and not being drawn into any calls that negatively affect society and development paths.
During the meeting, the most prominent interventions and projects implemented in the districts were reviewed, with an emphasis on the importance of directing efforts towards priorities that serve social stability, improve the level of services, and support the most needy groups. This is part of the Ministry’s vision aimed at transforming social work into a genuine driver for stability and development.
For their part, the local authority leaders in the Yafea districts praised the supportive stances of His Excellency the Minister towards the stability of the districts and the normalization of conditions there. They affirmed their commitment to continuing joint work to enhance community stability and propel the wheel of development towards construction.
